Holy Mass is ordered toward the praise of God and participation in the heavenly banquet of our Lord. As such, emphasis is put on beauty and reverence for all ministries that participate in liturgical worship, including our music. This Music Ministry position requires a passion for servicing the liturgies of the Church (with mass as the prime example). Choir members are expected to have a deep sense of reverence and attentiveness to all aspects of the liturgy, including but beyond the scope of the musical components. Additionally, choir members must have a natural talent and inclination towards singing, either in melody or harmonies.
